Si is an abundant & non-toxic photocatalyst but limited by low bandgap & oxidation in water. We overcame this by modifying it w/ Ni-doped GQDs & using biomass oxidation. Excited to collaborate w/ Prof. Soojin Park & publish in Adv Mater! doi.org/10.1002/adma.2… #solarH2 #lignin
