The fact that some people are celebrating that a man, father and husband was shot and severely wounded on here is insane I don’t care what your politics and opinions are - if you have even a shred of joy in what has happened you are part of the problem and possibly mentally ill.

We can see here that the NDP continues its long held tradition of LARPing as an American, Bernie Sanders-type democrats and be totally devoid of actual independent identity or thought. They have learnt nothing

A headline like this would’ve been seen as satire only a few years ago. The fact it’s the dean of engineering saying this tells you all you need to know about how bad the situation is.

When articles like these pop up, you always have a few academics that parrot bizarre arguments like “Canada can’t do this, it’s too small!” Buddy, Sweden has a domestic auto manufacturer. Vietnam too. There are other reasons it hasn’t worked here, but you are just clueless

The Québec government announced today in its throne speech that it’s finally going after unions and their stranglehold on the province. It’s about damn time.

I'm sorry but what in god's name is this. I know Toronto is cringe but I didn't think it was possible for their mayor to achieve these superhuman levels of "yikes"

US carmakers reducing production in Canada right before a likely Carney meeting with Xi isn’t smart. Canada should put its interests FIRST and play the US off China, and vice versa. It’s unpalatable, but welcome to the real world. Let’s see if Carney’s elbows allow it.

Inject this straight into my veins. Translation: Québec unions are cooked. If the government doesn't chicken out, Québec could speedrun from the absolute worst jurisdiction with regards to union abuse of power, to one of the more worker-friendly places on the continent.

This doesn’t happen in a serious country. A court decided that you as a homeowner maybe don’t own the home you pay a mortgage for because of ancient aboriginal claims If Canada doesn’t wanna be a 3rd world country this insanity has to be stopped and never allowed to happen again

Funny, I remember it quite differently. 10 years ago Canada elected one of the worst governments in modern history - it begun a national decline and we have yet to see if it’s reversible. October 19th will be remembered, but not the way Katy Perry’s boyfriend wants it to be.

Don’t be fooled by the Liberals saying they are “worried” that their budget may fail and that we COULD head back to the polls in a few weeks. If we go into an election soon, it won’t be an accident - it’ll have been planned by Carney and his team. No coincidences.
