Starting afresh in 2024. As the bells rang in 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ I handed over the chair of the unique environmental / democratic engagement charity Hope for the Future and stepped down from speenpc.org.uk and am now planning new adventures with Nigel Clifford and all the family 🌅.
JEANETTE CLIFFORD FRGS Lynne Doherty Ross Mackinnon Lee Dillon MP 🔶 Laura Farris Laura Farris I am also baffled by this claim. West Berkshire Council has big responsibilities managing the community through this crisis. Concentrate on your responsibilities don't start a political bun fight.
Tackling big subjects at Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) tonight - thank you Shooka Bidarian & Nigel Clifford #Climatechange #democracy #Iran
Good morning in #WashCommon #Newbury this morning. Great support for Laura Farris & introducing Archna Datta as West Berkshire Conservatives candidate for Newbury Town Council following the rapid departure of the Lib Dem Cllr 🤦🏻♀️
Great session on the doorsteps today with our excellent candidate Archna Datta who will stand up for local Wash Common residents with Laura Farris and Richard Benyon. Polling day is Thursday 14th March.
Great to be out again in Thatcham North East with Laura Farris and our by election candidate, Richard Crumly. Lots of residents telling us that Richard is the man to hold the Lib Dem admin to account on 14 March.
I clearly recall the excellent Mr Stokoe, maths teacher at The King Edward VI, holding up the example of Sid Waddell to we ‘seventies students - he must have been a born & brilliant mathematician, and Mr Stokoe was v proud of him. Well done Joiners Arms, Morpeth.
Please do apply. It’s a great subject taught by great people in a great place. Cambridge Geography Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
Thanks to Hazel Rymer for a captivating lecture on Iceland's volcanic events. Join us next week for the last Monday night lecture of Summer 2024 to commemorate the 1924 attempted ascent of Everest. 📍Society or stream online: rgs.org/events/upcomin…
Good to be at Geospatial World Forum 2024 representing Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) Lots of discussion regarding skills and lifelong learning. Music to our ears.
Bit of sun ☀️, bit of rain ☔️- classic British Bank Holiday. We’ve been out across Thatcham talking to residents about the issues they care about, including my campaign for a new bridge over the railway line - formal proposal is now in with Dept for Transport Department for Transport
