Did you know that fan favorite Colonel Flagg, played by Edward Winter, only appeared in seven episodes of M*A*S*H? First, introduced as a Lieutenant Colonel in the episode "A Smattering of Intelligence“, he was later promoted to Colonel in the series.

I've always felt like the warm, easy-going Sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry wasn't always so serene in later seasons. In fact, some fans have dubbed this more irritable and serious persona "Angry Andy," due to his noticeable shift in character after Don Knotts' departure.

According to "Twitch Upon a Star," Elizabeth Montgomery found Dick York's "puppy-dog infatuation" with her annoying, rather than flattering. Whether this perception was accurate or imagined, it's clear Montgomery wasn't upset by York's eventual departure from "Bewitched."

Here's the cover of TV Guide from this week in 1972. Do you think it looks like Mike Connors from "Mannix"? That's who it is supposed to be...but I'm not seeing it.

During the late 70s, Hostess used DC and Marvel in a massive print ad campaign. In these one-page comic book stories, heroes like Batman and Spider-Man defeated villains by distracting them with Twinkies and other treats. Do you remember?

Fred Berry, "Rerun" from What's Happening!!, rose from street performer to TV star. After winning his own fight with addiction, he became a big sobriety advocate. In 2002, he said, "I'm still called Rerun. I love it." Sadly, a year later, he passed away from stroke complications.
