Let’s be clear, there is no plan of the German Government to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda. The discussion is about processing asylum applications in third countries under international humanitarian law and with support of the United Nations.

Superb article. The framing of inward migration is generally hostile, paranoiac, ancillary to a narrative of extreme hate, instead of looking at the positives and upsides. Well done on writing that article. I happen to have the 3 books referenced. Too many myths!

TW has no external shareholders. Its ultimate parent, Kemble, has paid no dividends to external shareholders since 2017. Until March this year, TW paid a dividend to Kemble to enable it to service its debts. But those payments have now stopped and Kemble is in default. 1/

We're delighted that the UK's independent news regulator IPSO (Independent Press Standards Organisation) has upheld a complaint we made over a misleading claim about migration data in a 2023 Daily Express comment article written by then-Conservative Party chairman Richard Holden MP. buff.ly/4ecFmGn

Video reconstruction of how Israeli troops killed a young Palestinian boy in Gaza for no reason, then killed six of his family members as they returned from a cemetery to bury him, holding a white flag. Their remains were bulldozed into a pile of garbage. trib.al/9wf8crj

Meanwhile, the atrocity denialists in UK politics and press (and, shamefully, the Chief Rabbi) want the UK to remain a willing and active accomplice to these systematic and deliberate war crimes.

More nonsense from the once-serious Adam Smith Institute. The claim that UK GDP per capita has fallen since 2008 is simply untrue (as you can see from the chart - or the ONS source data here) ons.gov.uk/economy/grossd…

I've seen respectable people interacting with this Cremieux account. So let's be clear: this person is a dyed-in-the-wool racist, using charts and graphs to produce a patina of credibility around Nazi-style race science. Here he's defending Richard Lynn. Some quotes from Lynn:
