I hope some people are beginning to realise that a huge part of what made discussion of gender issues so toxic was the vitriolic personal attacks people who chose to engage received.

Dennis contemptuously exposes Hunt’s lies. We have every right to be angry. Never mind the endless cries of “fascist bigots!” hurled at us. What matters is the betrayal of the gay rights movement and above all the harm done to young LGB people.

Not really into the whole Ripley thing but the new tv adaptation is an amazing feat of cinematography & production design. It really does look as though period photographs have come to life.

I have not finished reading the final Cass Report. But one thing Dr. Cass says in this recent interview struck me as worth posting. It's about how the familiar tactics of the most aggressive activists and the cowardice of the rest of us have undermined science and harmed children
