Students at John de Graff have been learning about robotics. As a special treat, we had visitors from the Winnipeg Police Service stop by today to share how they use some of their equipment to investigate and disable dangerous items. So cool!!!

Welcome back, everyone! The staff at our schools are excited to see some new faces and some familiar ones, as well. We hope everyone enjoys their first day back at school—or in some cases, their very first day!

It's Election Day for the province of Manitoba! Yesterday our Grade 4 classes held a student vote. We can't wait to see if our results align when we come back to school tomorrow!

This Sunday, Nov. 12, is Diwali, an important festival in Hinduism, celebrated in India and by the Indian diaspora worldwide. Known as the festival of lights, it’s about the victory of light over dark, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. 🕯️ #HappyDiwali2023

Happy Diwali! John de Graff students were welcomed this morning with two beautiful rangolis, created by a thoughtful community member, teacher and parent. Rangoli is an art form , in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop using a variety of materials.
