The Jackson City School District will be operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Monday Sept 30th in order to allow crews additional time to clear some county and township roads from fallen trees and debris.

We will be on our regular schedule for school this morning on Friday, Nov 22. Roads are mainly just wet. However, please exercise caution while driving, especially on bridges and overpasses as they tend to freeze before the roads do and could be iced over in some areas.

We are on regular schedule today Thurs Dec 12. County and state have treated the roads. There might be a few slick spots especially on bridges. Exercise some caution and allow a couple of minutes extra for your commute today.

Jackson City School District will be operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st. This will allow maintenance and custodial staff additional time to work on parking lots and sidewalks.

The JCSD will be closed tomorrow, Tues., Feb. 11 due to the illness and absenteeism of students and particularly staff. We are also under a winter weather advisory for tomorrow with the likelihood of snow starting close to arrival time and continuing throughout the day.

Jackson County is on a level 2 snow emergency at this time. The Jackson City School District will be closed today Wednesday, February 12th.
