There is zero reason this shouldn’t exist on a state level, and if elected I will prioritize revisiting this. Public debate plays a critical role in protecting our democracy, constituents deserve access to their elected officials and should expect to hear them unscripted!

Bottom line: If you take taxpayer-funded matching funds, you should be required to debate your opponents. Public money demands public accountability. Voters deserve to see candidates answer real questions, unscripted. This is what Democracy looks like 👏🏻
