#NTFL - Great to have AFL players Kysaiah Pickett and Quinton Narkle join the Darwin Buffaloes at training tonight. The pair looked sharp with their skills and did some extra running after the session. Both Kozzy and Quinton have been in the Top End for a couple of weeks now.

The CAFL rep team belted an undermanned St Marys by 121 points in Alice Springs over the weekend. There were calls post-match for the CAFL to play an NTFL rep team. However, with all due respect, I fear that the Central Australians would be very uncompetitive in that contest.

Former St Marys player Justin Van Unen booted his 1000th career goal on the weekend. Van Unen was a terrific footballer at his best, dominating various leagues across Victoria over the past decade and booting 72 goals from 13 games while playing in the NTFL in 2013/14.

JOHNSTON DELISTED: Territorian Lloyd Johnston has been informed by the Gold Coast that he will not be offered a contract for 2026. He spent three seasons on the Suns’ list for nine appearances at AFL level. That’s a shame – he has been in strong form at VFL level. 📷 – AFL
