The UK government’s rhetoric on climate change is hypocritical at best. After announcing the country’s “net-zero by 2050” target (which they are not yet on track to meet) allowing this to happen for economic growth and/or votes in industrial areas is disturbing. 😤 1/2

Coal is one of the biggest contributors to climate change, as it releases more carbon dioxide than oil or gas. This mine would emit 8million tones of carbon annually🤯 SO MUCH FOR LEADERSHIP. 2/2
