We can often say when the bell rings we are responding to much uncertainty. However, there is nothing uncertain about preparation. Decrease the margin of danger and risk factors by always refining our craft.

Best of Bunker gear, air pac’s and thermal imaging devices and everything else is insignificant if you’re not applying the most advanced piece of equipment that everyone has on their shoulders. Be a Thinking firefighter that’s hyper focused.

Our people are not expendable items. We must do everything in our power to protect them in every possible situation. Teach them and equip them. Then watch over them on and off the fire ground.

Your survival is dependent upon the ability to recognize potential threats before they manifest themselves. We do this by using actionable intelligence, critical thinking and recognition primed decision making.

Survival on the fire ground goes beyond the level of knowledge, experience and skills. It is extremely important to always work within your comfort level and be aware of your surroundings. Don’t wait for a situation to escalate be proactive.
