Average is not elite. Players cannot expect to put in an average effort and become elite. There is nothing wrong with average. But, there is something wrong with giving an average effort and expecting elite results.

For any prospects that think they’re “above” the level of a school, I suggest going for a workout at that school. If you are the best player on the floor, you have your answer. If you struggle to keep up with the bottom of their roster, you should re-assess your thought

Trained this 6th grader. I had him working on some mid range catch&shoot plus off the dribble. He says,"I need to work on this because my coach says he doesn't want anything but a layup or 3 pointer!" Parents be careful of who your kids play for or train with! 👎🏾

We have to get back to teaching kids the basics! If a kid is not fundamentally sound, then they don't have a solid, strong foundation and coaches see it for sure! A lot of bad basketball! Don't even know how to make a fundamentally sound layup off 1 or both feet! Sad.....smdh
