Jonah Hauer-King is really good in Doctor Who. Consistently well struck performance in a role that’s devastatingly underwritten. Handy little microcosm of the whole era.

The fact so much of it was people standing around talking meant the overall vibe was actually better? Most of it wasn’t great, but there were way more opportunities for nice smaller moments (or jokes) to land than if the whole thing was spent rushing from A to B to get a thing
