Attending Mass General MDs “Planning for Prevention of Parkinson’s: A trial design forum”. Great introductory talk by Allen Dance who lives with RBD: “Care for your [research] volunteers just as much as you care for your research.” Share research results with us too!

Great opening session at Mass General MDs “Planning for Prevention of Parkinson’s” with patient advocates speaking. Jessi Keavney, a Parkinson's Foundation advocate, sums it up nicely, “it bothers me not to have access to information about my own body.” #returnresults. #sharedata

Great viewpoint provided on need take it easy as #Parkinsons moves towards a biological definition. Defining #PD based upon biology may be important for drug development, but declaring a biomarker "winner" after the first heat is premature. More (better?) biomarkers are coming.

This paper by my colleagues and I underscores the significance of asking people what *they* value as important. Not surprisingly, many find knowledge is very important to them, whether it is claimed to be clinically useful or not.
