Great times in Ashokan! Students enjoying the nature hike.

A few engaging math activities that allowed students to compete and collaborate. 1st Graders participated in a scavenger hunt that required them to tell time, and 5th graders used their knowledge of coordinate planes to play battleship.

Throwback Thursday! As part of PARP month, students returned to last year's class and had their former teacher read them a story. Everyone had a blast!

Career Week kicked off with 5th and 6th grade students learning about engineering and completing a hands-on challenge.

Freedom Friday at Rhame! Students got to choose a high interest book and read outside. What a great Friday afternoon activity before Memorial Day Weekend!

Some awesome extracurricular activities going on at Rhame! The garden club had a salad party with the vegetables they grew, and the student council practiced some of the games they are going to lead at lunch time.

A great few days at Rhame! Welcoming our new Kindergarten families, our 1st Grade Performance, and a 6th grade aspiring principal being a Principal for the morning.

Congratulations to the Pre- K Graduates. We are excited to see you in Kindergarten next year!

Our second graders did a phenomenal job on their grade level presentation! Students researched animals, created a model of their environment and a brochure with interesting information, and even decorated their own shirt! Great activity that fostered creativity!

Great first day at Rhame! Amazing to have student's energy and happiness back in the building. Thank you to the PTA & families that decorated our walkways to share positivity! I am proud of this amazing school.

Students in first grade created bags with important items to them and shared out to their classmates to learn more about one another. Fifth graders learned about the brain and the importance of having a growth mindset. A great day of learning at Rhame.

6th grader students buddied with 1st grade students to complete a classroom scavenger hunt. A fun opportunity for students to be role models and build relationships.

Congratulations to our two raffle winners from the Harlem Wizards WizFit Challenge! Keep up the great work and hopefully we will reach out goal for a new sound system in the gym! Be kind, Be respectful, Be safe!

Walking the halls yesterday, I heard a student ask their teacher, "Can we do Flashlight Friday reading again?" What a fun way to get students reading independently!

Our sixth grade teachers planned a fun game of "Deal or No Deal" for sixth graders to review unit cost and compare real world prices to find the best deal.

Thank you New York Islanders for a great assembly on teamwork and healthy choices. The students at Rhame had a great time!
