2 nights ago, a former student saw me at Walmart and yelled, "Coach Cortes! I'm so happy that I could find you here! I always mention that you were one of our coolest teachers at Jones!" Her reaction when she saw me made me thank God again for the ministry (job) I have 🥰🙏

I had a great moment talking to Mr. Mead and Coach Nelson during our PE SDD... Mr. Mead shared beautiful memories about his close friend, Mr. A. W. Jones and I told Mr. Mead that I had the honor of meeting Mr. Jones too. Our school was named Jones Elementary School after him🥰 #ILoveMyJob!
