The Whitecaps signing Thomas Müller should go down as the biggest signing in Vancouver pro sports history. 13 time league champ, two UCL titles, a Euro & World Cup winner. Even at 35 if he’s lost a step his soccer IQ and experience is so valuable to a club with title aspirations.

There is no real hockey comparable that can accurately illustrate the magnitude of Thomas Muller coming to the Whitecaps. This isn’t like Sundin, or Messier, or anything we’ve ever seen in Vancouver sports history. It’s bigger.
