I sat in the position of the students not that long ago, so I am extremely greatful to be invited in to talk about my career so far.

I will never not be enthusiastic about ear protection. Musicians and music enthusiasts PROTECT YOUR EARS.

I'm looking for a speaker on maximising your income for new artists, covering things like:

- registering your tracks
- Crowdfunding/subscriptions
- merch and live
- maybe: negotiation

Looking for real practical tips, a one hour session, via zoom, paid of course.

I’ve recently been reading Minnie Bruce Pratt’s ‘Crimes Against Nature’, a poetry collection that maps her experience as a mother loosing custody to her children (homosexuality was criminalised at the time). Incredible poet, activist and human being. Rest in Power Minnie.

Just finished the ‘Once Upon A Time in Northern Ireland’ series on BBC iPlayer exploring the history of the troubles from both sides of the conflict. Can’t recommend it enough. A devastating but deeply compassionate watch. Huge respect to everyone involved in the making.

The Mercury shortlist is incredible, but every single record on there is produced, mixed & mastered by an entirely male team, except where female artists co-produced, and one album which was mix assisted by a female engineer. Pretty depressing tbh </3
