The EAU-CUA Exchange Program kicked off today University of Manitoba hosted by Premal Patel, MD & Jay Nayak. We visited Manitoba Urology health care center, prostate cancer center and men’s health clinic during the day. At night, European Association of Urology (EAU) and Canadian Urological Association teams presented on various topics.

📢 When we opened Men's Health Clinic Manitoba, our goal was to assist in reducing the surgical backlog. However, it's crucial to be mindful of the potential stress on our healthcare infrastructure, including urgent care and emergency departments. 🏥 1/4

📊 Our recent publication covering 519 procedures commonly performed in hospitals shows that our rates of emergency department/urgent care visits and family MD visits are lower than other published ambulatory surgical centers data. 🩺 2/4
