Since the Shoulder Check functions as a Kick, I found you can basically launch your shield at enemies just by dropping it and immediately dashing into it 😅 #gamedev

The Shoulder Check just keeps on giving 😂😂 So turns out if you throw a hatchet then Dash into it, you just freakin' LAUNCH it, basically turning it into a long-distance decap machine #gamedev

This one might be controversial - the Field Kit has been changed a bit to give it a little "bandaging" animation, which ties up your off-hand and slows the player down. It's easy to interrupt though, and you can still blow cultists away with one-handed weapons! #gamedev #unity

A quick dev update covering the Chapter One polish pass! It's like 80% lighting adjustments and new textures but man it's crazy to see the difference in some places! More screenshots/details in the Steam post: store.steampowered.com/news/app/16849…

The polishing continues on E1M2! A big optimization pass on this area got the average framerate from ~90fps up to ~180-200! Originally this view would be rendering about 1.8M verts - but some much-needed cleanup on some costly meshes chopped it all the way down to 700k #gamedev

The best thing to do when you're getting close to being done with your game is to completely scrap and rebuild your menu system ... right? The old system was a busted nightmare held together by duct tape and doesn't support localization at all, so sadly it must be done #gamedev

Completely reworked the tutorial system! Now players get notified of new tips/hints, and can choose to read them or just ignore it and read it later btw you'll never guess what happens at the end of the video #gamedev #madewithunity
