Interesting piece....it was cut by a tree company and nearly cut all the way through in the middle. Kind of ruined to possibility for beautiful slabs. I will have to get creative. kraftslogworks.com

It is hard to see so many trees lost in Houston from the storm. Would love to be able to give these fallen trees another life in the form of furniture! kraftslogworks.com

There have been a lot of trees that have blown over in Central and Southeast Texas which is very sad to see. Before you have your tree chopped up into firewood, consider having it milled into lumber or slabs for furniture! kraftslogworks.com

We don't normally pick up softwood but this is an exception! Some pine for a rustic cabin restoration and then a couple of cedar logs. kraftslogworks.com

A large rootball from the large pecan we picked up several weeks ago. The center has some rot and it split up as we were lifting it out of the ground. Hopefully I can get creative with it still!

Who knew being a furniture maker required all of this equipment?! Kraft's Log Works specializes in recovering logs and transforming them into heirloom furniture. I love my job!

The Log Hauler is ready to haul some logs to the #sawmill, deliver #firewood, dimensional lumber, or #woodslabs, also during slow times, reach out to us if you have some freight that needs to be hauled locally!

A few pictures of the latest Pecan Waterfall Table before the client comes to pick it up. Taking new orders for the first part of 2026. I'd be honored to build a piece for your home! #furniture #houston #texas

Several customers are coming to pick up kiln dried wood, several boules of wood are waiting to go in the kiln, several table orders being fulfilled, mantels waiting to be picked up, and some planed white oak ready to leave the shop so we can receive more white oak on Monday.

Grabbing a beautiful Water Oak from the Big City of #Houston today. I'm anxious to see how these slabs will turn out. I already know there is metal and wire in this log. Stay tuned for some furniture!
