Tonight's results confirm what I've been saying for 20 years. The country is divided beyond repair. There's an east-west divide and it's unresolvable without opening the Constitution...and even then I have my doubts.

Martyupnorth®- Unacceptable Fact Checker There's also a deep urban/rural divide that's very convenient for the Liberals. If you look at Quebec and Ontario, the map isn't all red. It's because of Montreal and Toronto that we can't have nice things.

Civilization is an ongoing process of repair. True decline sets in when people stop worrying about decline, either out of blind faith in progress, or guilt over success. Complacency is the first stage of decrepitude.

And all I will say about the Canadian election (right now) is that I am very happy I no longer live there. (SMH at Eastern Canadian voters).

Again, I am glad I don't live there anymore. With Spain suffering a massive solar-caused blackout, Mark Carney's opening plan is to make Canadian energy and finance even more like Spain's. This is insane and beyond dangerous.

As much as I would like to ding Carney and his wife for publicly admitting they want to "make Canada poor," she was just using a profoundly bad French accent to say, "un Canada fort."
