Struck me again reading the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians that kindness makes the list. Where could the church be by now if we, people who claim the name of Jesus, had spent as much effort cultivating the nature of Jesus? Kindness is cultivated. To be kind = to bear fruit.

In light of so much craziness coming from the church, I think we need to hear this again and again and again: “When the Church tries to embody the rule of God in the forms of earthly power it may achieve that power, but it is no longer a sign of the kingdom.” ~ Lesslie Newbigin

“Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions.” -Henri J.M. Nouwen

Check out a clip of Ella in this really cool Christmas song by @Onerosiecheek! Her 6-year old son inspired this song, wanting to cheer up the world in a hard year. Feel free to share this with others and cheer up the world! Thanks again, Rosie! m.youtube.com/watch?v=S4k6uC…

Pro Tip: pull your windshield wiper arms away from your windshield before the precip starts so your wipers don't freeze to the glass. Also, don't use hot water to melt windshield ice. That's baaaad.
