This is why we sadly see waits in our communities for ambulance responses. Our teams are doing fantastic work in really challenging circumstances but it is this sustained pressure across health and social care that ultimately leads to response delays. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-…

Any significant delays in handover of patients is not good but this is unacceptable. 28hrs outside ED waiting to handover a patient. This is why there are delays to patients in the community who urgently need our help.

Big shout out to all Welsh Ambulance #TeamWAST control room staff across all our sites. First point of call for all our 999 & 111 calls. Cool, Calm & collected in often very stressful situations. Without this vital function there would be no onward action. Happy #ICRW
