My excellent local, the Commercial Hotel, Larbert, (FK5 4AE) will welcome DFC fans on Friday before and after the match. Parking available, 20-minute walk to Ochilview. Good Motorway access. #thedee DFC Supporters Assoc Glasgow Dees @south_east_sect Carnoustie Dees DSC

I must say that from my vantage point at the opposite end, the Dee support last night was nothing short of magnificent. Well done all! Have a great summer!

My football season started on 2nd July 2022 in Peterhead and finished on 5th May at Stenhousemuir when Dundee FC beat Queen's Park 5-3 to win promotion. I've covered 46 Dee matches, and enjoyed it all hugely. But, oh boy, am I glad it's over and I can enjoy the close season now!

The farce that is VAR … first ref says it’s a goal, next it’s a foul, and finally it’s offside. What a lot of bollocks!

Can’t remember a two-goal Dundee Football Club match winner not being awarded man of the match. But this shows the quality we have in this team. Sylla deserved winner but Donnelly could not have been far behind. Great stuff!

Homeward bound after securing a Top Six finish. Congratulations Dundee Football Club ! But wait … have we checked with Phillipe Clement that this is ok?

Wishing Luke McCowan every success - it has been a joy watching him for the Dark Blues. Next stop the Dark Blue of Scotland?

Still a bit depressed after yesterday’s performance but the state of St Johnstone’s pitch has cheered me up a touch. Pathetic I know but that’s fitba.

A lot to worry about for us just now but Simon Murray’s body language at Alloa yesterday suggests to me that he is far from happy with the Pressley plan.
