Over 60% of MLB swings occur at 80-90% of peak bat speed Bat speed training isn't about swinging with absurd intent in games—it's about raising your ceiling so you swing faster WITHOUT changing your level of intent 90% of 85 > 90% of 75 More info: youtube.com/watch?v=WUDQLO…

From early success with the Nationals to the Yankees' playoff run, Amed Rosario had a wild 2025. Hitting Coordinator Travis Fitta breaks down the work that made it happen 💪

Speed is a perishable skill. You need to train it! The Toronto Blue Jays are a prime example of what strong organizational beliefs can do for in season results. Move the bat fast. Hit the ball hard. Hit the ball far! x.com/travisfitta/st…

Thank you Prep Baseball Virginia/DC for putting on an amazing event yesterday! I was able to showcase some of the growth I've made recently. I got 99.3 exit velo, a 6.73 laser 60 and 91 across the diamond. And 90 from the outfield. As well as getting on 3 times during game play and

What are three ways a hitter can increase their bat speed? ➡️ Physical Development ➡️ Mechanical Efficiency ➡️ Intention Each of these areas has immense value, and all three should be incorporated into your training to maximize bat speed development.

A simple game I like on high-intensity days: give hitters a bat-speed threshold (usually their avg BS) and require balls hit in their top 1/8 EV to earn a point. It forces hitters to swing fast while keeping direction clean for real contact quality. Controlled violence.

How did Iván Herrera take the leap form being a good big league hitter to one of the best in the show? 🤔 Andrew Aydt breaks down why bat speed was the common denominator — and how his EV and hard-hit rate profited as a result.

Really good read here from Travis Sawchik. We’re still in the growing pains of hitting development. I’ll always be on the side that backs it in data and proof over opinion and ego. We have some really good people Driveline Baseball doing good things for players of all levels.

One of my favorite ways to work on path/sequencing: Pair the Long Bat with the Underload... Why? The Long bat forces the hitter to sequence properly if they want good ball flight🚀 The Underload challenges the ability to recreate that move with an implement 20 oz less than the

"That was so unbelievably insane. But that's like such a good athletic movement." Washington Nationals center fielder Jacob Young joins Hitting Coordinator Travis Fitta in this swing design. Full video on YouTube ⬇️

One of the reasons Over/under loaded training bats are so valuable. In your training you should mix in implements with varying weight distribution, length, barrel size. Try to swing them fast. Do so in variable, game representative environments. You will get better. It

Anything you train should be about improving ball flight. Whether that's harder, higher, lower, more room for error, etc. Swing changes are to allow the production to be easier and more consistent
