I’ve found some interesting things in tiger snake bellies, but this one takes the cake! Tiger snake eating a hatching turtle. Interesting from the snakes perspective but more concerning for the turtles with near no recruitment in Perth. meridian.allenpress.com/australian-zoo…

Are ‘nuisance’ snake relocations helping snakes or just easing the public’s discomfort? Is there a more appropriate way to carry out snake catching activities in Australia? We think so. New paper in Herpetological Journal with Bill Bateman and Tom Parkin thebhs.org/publications/t…

Thesis submitted. Too bad it's only downhill after page iii. Big thanks to Damian Lettoof Christine Cooper Brenton von Takach and Bill Bateman. Will never forget the inspirational words from Old mate at Herdsman Lake "Yous milkin'?"

The new Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre looks incredible! The tiger snake wall is the best part. Super happy to contribute to the natural history knowledge and images included in this display! Jari Cornelis

Brenton von Takach power taught me the basics of pop. genomics and we assessed tiger snake populations around Perth. Check out what we found! I also ate my own hat and published in PLoS One… journals.plos.org/plosone/articl…

Another little note out in @rzsnsw !@LettsGetSnakes and I found a tiger snake with mummified young stuck inside her reproductive tract. Not unheard of in captivity but a rare observation in the wild. meridian.allenpress.com/australian-zoo…

Honey possum (Tarsipes rostratus) from a few weeks ago. My partner and I were lucky enough to find a few zooming around the blossoms at Cheynes Beach. #WildOz #honeypossum
