Early season trout… not always the easiest conditions but great when one or two reach the net. Despite the high winds and incessant rains I managed to find some success on the headwaters of the River Frome last weekend.

Conditions were looking pretty unfavourable going into this weekend, but with the rain largely holding off I braved the gusting winds to open my trout season. Some grannom knocking about too.

This morning at Fullerton sewage works over 200 members of the public, anglers & friends joined a protest to show support for the Hampshire River Keepers Association, and the river. The Trust will continue to support HRKA & TIA to push Southern Water to #endsewagepollution .
