What to bring to Japan if it’s your first time: -Comfy shoes - you’ll walk a lot, but you can buy them here too -Pack light - even if you swear you won’t shop
 you will -International card + some yen - not everywhere takes cards -Pocket Wi-Fi or eSIM. What else would you bring?

What not to bring to Japan for your first visit: -Too many clothes - you’ll rewear items & likely shop here -Hairdryer/styler - may not work with Japan’s voltage -Snacks - unless you have dietary needs -Full makeup bag - drugstores here are a beauty paradise -Full-size toiletries

Japanese summers can be harsh. Here are some tips to stay safe: 1. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids like Pocari Sweat, Aquarius, to keep electrolytes up 2. Carry a UV-protective umbrella 3. Use cooling wipes from convenience stores 4. Wear lightweight, UV-repellent clothing
