Timing is no coincidence, announcement as Nasrallah has started speaking

The takeaway from Nasrallah's speech thus far is that, unsurprisingly, there will not be the "decoupling of fronts" that some Israeli officials had hoped for: Hezbollah will not accept a political defeat and agree to a ceasefire separate from an end to the war in Gaza.

Aside from that it was a very tired, subdued speech by Nasrallah. Paraphrasing but at one point he did a weary riff about how you win some, you lose some, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

1/ Israel can't catch a break. What hasn't it done to goad Nasrallah into starting a war that it won't start itself? Nasrallah's not in. He is inviting Israel to invade but will not take the first shot. He's in it for Gaza. He says what he means and does what he says. --->
