Cleaving close to Christ is not cowardice, but the foundation of true confidence. In His presence demonic pressure dissolves and the temptations of the flesh lose their allure. Union with Father, Son and Spirit is our inheritance, our refuge and everlasting (ever-increasing) joy.

It is time to become all we can be in and for Christ, whatever the cost. Because He paid an unimaginable cost for us to be one with Him and the Father, to be filled to overflowing with His Spirit and to bring others into Their marvelous light. Let nothing and no one hold us back.

Those who love Christ more than self cast down self-centeredness for His sake, that His Name may be exalted on earth, multitudes of sinners may be drawn into His kingdom and so His bride may be clothed with the beauty of holiness, which is perfect security and never-ending glory.

Waiting on God with love, expectation and full attention is a precious sacrifice, especially in our distracted and self-consumed age. But such sacrifices please the Father and usher us into deep communion with His Son, Who seeks lovers to endue with power and a passion for souls.

Laying down our lives in anonymity is no tragedy. Christ must be lifted up, because His Name (I Am Who I Am) is the Name from which all identity is derived. Becoming nothing that He may be all He desires to be through us is our high calling, true destiny and ultimate fulfilment.

The Lamb calls us to feed His lambs by denying self and taking up our cross, so Spirit may flow freely through us. Because the world for which He suffered and prayed is still largely unsaved, but He longs for a pure and spotless bride, composed of all nations, tongues and tribes.

Ministers of God should not be celebrities but self-denying servants of all. They are to be respected but not revered (Jesus said He alone is our Master and we are all brothers) lest they be corrupted by pride and start seeking the adulation of people (which sadly often happens.)

Christ is doing His strange and wonderful work all over the earth, through whoever abandons self to let His glorious Spirit take over. He will not be stopped or dictated to. What we endure for His sake conforms us to His likeness, releases His fragrance and brings eternal reward.

Laid down lives will be lifted up, because they are emblems of Christ: what the world needs to be restored to God's order. "I sanctify Myself that they may be sanctified in truth." This is true discipleship, the key to unlimited spiritual growth and the transformation of society.

Gods promises prevent us from chasing after money, power and selfish pleasures, because we know His goodness and presence are available, through simple faith, childlike devotion and loving attention. Living one with Him is the proven path to increasing bliss and lasting treasure.

Dwelling and delighting in God motivates us to draw others into His presence, that they may taste and (hopefully) choose His goodness. Fulfilling this high calling requires us to humble ourselves very low, so Father, Son and Spirit may overshadow us (building Their own kingdom.)

When others plot our downfall we need to fall down before the God of all (grace) and His Son, The Resurrection and the Life. What others intend for evil They will turn for our good, provided we keep our heart loving and attuned to Holy Spirit, our security, endurance and victory.

The Good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep, to set them an example, because the world is not yet redeemed and filled with His praise. By following the Lamb (Who is perfect Light) we can rescue others out of darkness. It may cost us much, but the rewards are inestimable.

By calmly communing with God we are conformed to His likeness. By sharing the good news of Christ and confronting evil we grow into His full stature. Holy Spirit is preparing a pure bride for the Son, one that is fearless, passionate about her Groom and lives holy to glorify Him.

Prostrating ourselves before God (to adore, enjoy and consult Him) will keep us from fruitless distraction, premature burnout and public downfall. Satan's objective is to topple pillars in God's kingdom, so many may be destroyed through disillusionment and lack of godly examples.

Waiting on God is not wasting our life, but growing in His Spirit and imbibing His life, that we may abound in love, joy, peace and clarity, which spread the character, presence and fragrance of Jesus, in a world reeking of selfishness, greed, lust, confusion and dissatisfaction.

We are God's house and each time we obey Spirit and Scripture we become more like Christ, the builder of all that is good and pure. Those who are wise hunger for Their instruction, so they may be transformed into Their magnificent image, drawing others out of darkness into light.

We are the fruit of Christ's obedience and there is no substitute for obedience if we long to bear fruit for Him. Therefore we must welcome our Father's pruning, though it is painful, because He is preparing unimaginable glory for those who delight in Him and revere Holy Spirit.

Suffering seldom feels right, but the Lamb purposely suffered to set all things right with the Father, and to set us an example of what is required to undo evil and deliver damnation-bound people out of darkness. Love is bearing God's yoke that the evil one's yokes may be broken.

To catch up with Holy Spirit we need to slow down, that He may align us with the agenda of God, Who has been slowly and steadily working to prepare a suitable bride for His Son, one who lives in uninterrupted fellowship and utter trust in Him, unmoved by this world's compulsions.
