This sums up my thoughts on the ‘hacks’ thing perfectly. OT is a profession which is often misunderstood. Royal College of Occupational Therapists should be helping us explain the depth and complexity of OT, not reducing it to magazine-style ‘life hacks’.

Breaking my usual habit of lurking, to tell you that you MUST read In Her Nature by Rachel Hewitt
I alternated between amazement at achievements of women in sport/the outdoors and horror at the ways which people try to stop them. Shouted out “yes” in agreement numerous times!
Can’t see many OT signatures on here 🤔 Since we bang on about being person-centred, holistic etc, I suggest that any OTs who have not yet signed this read up on SIM and decide whether you think it fits with that ethos (clue - it doesn’t) then sign the letter RCOT Mental Health Royal College of Occupational Therapists
