Talking to a farmer in his yard we were being dive bombed by loads of swallows, it was fabulous but the farmer has cows, I don’t, I don’t have swallows either, the woman up the road has animals she has swallows, I don’t have animals, no animals no swallows #swallow

The verbena bonariensis did well for butterflies as did the white daisies, I also saw a common blue in the garden and a painted lady was flying around, couldn’t capture either of those though #butterflies

The sparrows congregating around the water pot, I’ve filled it up so many times this morning as the birds are either bathing in it or drinking the water - it really is very hot here today #sparrows

I bet that’s refreshing - the deep end of Somerset is looking rather shallow at the moment, I really cannot remember when it has been so dry here #desperateforrain 🤔#cormorant
