And here’s another encouraging thing about the appointment of Sarah Mullally. After a run of ‘hung’ CNCs she was able to obtain the required two thirds majority without controversy.

Sadly my expectations for the ceasefire in Israel Palestine are rock bottom. Hopefully there may be a release of hostages on both sides but after that I fully expect Israel to resume its genocidal programme. I would love to be persuaded otherwise.
