Absolute chaos trying to drop someone off at Derriford Hospital at the moment. Nowhere to stop, several roads on the site are closed and roadworks everywhere. Some better signage is needed while these works take place. 🚧🫩

3 years ago About East Grinstead and I visited Tintagel and used the new bridge for the first time. Always such a beautiful place, with a sea the colour of the Mediterranean.. 😎🥰

Back in the garden after a few rainy days. My one strawberry 🍓 plant has its first fruit (will have with my breakfast tomorrow). I’m trying runner beans in the greenhouse this year and my summer planters are filling out with colourful blooms.. 👩‍🌾 🪴🪏 #gardener

One of our old bird boxes has been taken over by colony of bees 🐝. I think they’re Tree Bumblebees, but not getting too close as I don’t want to upset them. They’re welcome to stay. 😎 🐝 🐝🐝

Plenty of birds around today. I always love to see bullfinches in the garden. One of the 3 roses 🌹 that we planted in memory of Rosie🐶, is in flower and the others have buds on. 🥰

A fab year for roses so far. 🌹The garden has an evocative, old-fashioned and somewhat comforting scent. My favourite is the big and blousy orange one. The wild white/pale pink roses are clambering up the neighbour’s Leylandii tree with blooms too many to count.. 🥰🌹🌹🌹

Popped to the post office and did a detour via Cargreen to have a look around. Such a peaceful little place. Merlin app picked up the usual birds, plus a Ruddy Turnstone. Lovely fresh air today, although it would be good to see the sun again soon.. 🐦‍⬛⛵️
