Such a wonderful time with Vineyard Leaders in Port Elizabeth with so many nations represented. We danced and sang as we celebrated 40 years since John Wimber’s first visit here and the establishing of the Vineyard in South Africa

Great morning with John and I visiting two different churches in Cape Town. Worship African-style was fabulous ! End of a long trip . . . during which the sense of family across Vineyards in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and now South Africa has been quite wonderful.

Just leaving this incredibly beautiful land and its wonderful people with very full and thoroughly thankful hearts. Kinda sad to be exchanging gorgeous spring sunshine, for the probable chill of autumn in Devon. But heading home is a very happy thing !

I was sorry to hear of Gordon Fee’s death on Tuesday aged 88. I loved working through his wonderful “God’s Empowering Presence” & so appreciated his “Paul, the Spirit & the People of God.” Superb insights.

Chuck Freeland Could not agree more. He was a remarkable man, a fine scholar and someone skilled enough to make the hardest bits accessible and palatable ! God used him gravely for the blessing of the Vineyard family.

This is really well-thought through and concise. And it’s helpful in a moment where so many are framing this as a justice and equality issue.

A joy to see 200 Scottish evangelical pastors & leaders across denominations & streams gather for 2 days of prayer & fasting in Falkirk. Praying for the success of the gospel, the growth of the church, His Kingdom to come & His name to be glorified in our time. #Revival

The #WordOfGod heals and raises up. It is destined for everyone. Jesus wants to reach those far away. He wants to heal the sick, to save sinners, to gather the lost sheep and lift up those whose hearts are weary and oppressed. God’s mercy is for everyone.

Recently returned from a remarkable gathering of these fine leaders from many lands. Planning and praying over the Global Vineyard’s future. Very aware of the Lord’s presence and direction, and of exciting days ahead !

It it weren’t for John Wimber & dozens upon dozens of Vineyard leaders, I wouldn’t still be charismatic. It was within the Vineyard & while engaging Vineyard theology that I discovered it was possible to be committed to the authority of Scripture, a LOVE for the Spirit, & people.

If campaigners think there should be no limit on abortion up to birth, say so. I’m happy to declare openly that an 8 month old baby is a human being, with rights to be respected & considered. In this case, she had a name too. Lily.
