We’re remembering the life and legacy of Pope Francis this morning as the late pontiff is laid to rest. Pope Francis was known for reaching out to society's forgotten. Below is my photo from 2015 when the pope visited prisoners at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philly.

The view as we made our way to the SEPTA bus fire at the Midvale Depot in Nicetown. SEPTA says the buses on fire were decommissioned and headed to the scrap yard. No injuries reported. Neighbors in the area should keep their windows closed and use fans to recirculate indoor air.

CANCELLED: Police say the initial account of this incident from the child’s mother was false, and the Amber Alert is cancelled. This is now a homicide investigation being led by Maryland State Police. Ryan Hughes and CBS Philadelphia are following the latest.
