I cannot imagine how it must feel to be one of the Olympic athletes in the turn-taking sports (like gymnastics) and being in bronze position when the other athletes come up and have their turn. It must be excruciating.

If you like hearing "years of age" rather than "years old" to describe how old someone is, you should have been watching the Olympics.

Russell Brand singing I am the Walrus was exactly the level of shit that I had expected the opening ceremony to be like. Obviously I was very pleasantly surprised by the opening ceremony, but the closing ceremony was quite the crash landing.
