S3 Photography have been recreating famous Still Life photographs using creative lighting and props. Some great results, although the banana has a certain appeal!

Some amazing work from S2, S3 and S4 pupils at our Wider Skills Photography day yesterday. Learning about composition and framing, and photos were printed and bound into artists books. Well done guys!

SCHOOL OF ROCK: A special assembly was led today by the S2 Rock Band and the Staff Band, consisting of Mr 'Slash' Cairns, Mr 'Bono' Wrightson, Mr 'the bassist' Maitland and vocals from Mrs 'Voice of an angel' Cardew. What a sound!

A belated thank you to the amazing team from the Pitlochry Festival Theatre costume department, who visited us a few weeks ago to deliver a costume design workshop to S2. There were some wild and (mostly) wearable creations, all made from five bags of scraps. Bravo!

S2 visited the amazing Tartan Exhibition V&A Dundee last week. From Jacobite kilts, via Brigadoon to Vivienne Westwood, they even had time for some inspiration sketches for their fashion project back in the classroom - we’re expecting plenty of plaid!
