NI teachers would much prefer to be in a classroom today. Instead we again stand up and united to protect the future of those we teach. It’s time the profession was given the respect and resources it deserves. It’s simple, as a country we either care for our children or we don’t.

Education is on its knees in NI. Time to invest in our children, our future. Pay parity in line with the rest of the UK to end the underpayment, recruitment and retention crisis & increased funding our schools. Enough is enough. INTO-NI NAHT Northern Ireland NASUWT N. As a leader in school, the way in which you talk to and treat the students and staff you lead sends a more powerful message than any written policy.

We do a Behaviour Reset after every half-term break, which is now delievered to all students via recorded video. I've noticed a huge increase in "good mornings", "please" and "thank you", as well as door holding since the most recent one. Manners are taught!

Reading "A Song for Dark Times" by Ian Rankin - brilliant as usual. But just realised the images in my head switch between Stott and Hannah, and the Siobhan Clarke actors. Never happened with other characters. Weird
