Two trucks in a UN convoy in South Ukraine, clearly marked as humanitarian, were targeted and destroyed by drones yesterday. Thankfully, no casualties. These attacks are utterly unacceptable and highlight the daily risks faced by aid workers. #notatarget #Ukraine

Since 2022, HALO has surveyed 51.5 million square metres and made more than 12 million square metres of land safe in 🇺🇦 #Ukraine. The challenge of explosive contamination in Ukraine remains immense - but so too does the determination of the Ukrainian people and their deminers.

At #UMAC2025 in Tokyo, The HALO Trust shared its vision for a tech-driven mine free future. Under our new strategy, we’re expanding innovation to cut false alarms below 50% by 2030. In 2024 we dug over 6 million evacuations by hand. By 2030, 90% will be done by machines.
