Season gets underway today couple of good preseason games followed by a 2 week Hoilday season number 16 gets underway ⚽️

That dreaded Sunday night feeling is back a great two week break now back to reality!

Looking forward to helping support the development of referees in Essex in September ⚽️

Always good to get back out there for the first game of the season on Saturday quick turn around and back out tomorrow 💪⚽️

Very enjoyable evening out on the green stuff 4 games into the new season if you count preseason and back out enjoying it and loving it again !!

Have got love a late start and early finding before the bank holiday weekend roll on this afternoon !

So after 6 weeks today wrapped up the last of the Summer holiday camps with Premier Education in Surrey and Sussex a very rewarding and hard few weeks but we have made it through lots of positives and now we move onto the planning and preparation for inset training next week 💪

Pleasure last night to get out and deliver a referees course in Surrey exciting times for 22 new learners who start their journey into refereeing in Surrey 💪⚽️

Really pleasing weekend a pleasure being back in my home county to help Essex FA with a new referees course 19 new referees to start their journeys

Pleasure last night to get out and deliver a session to a local youth football league match officials and clubs ahead of the new season and the changes to the laws for the up and coming season ⚽️💪

This week seems to have dragged way too much bring on the weekend !!

Yesterday at work careers day dress up and child comes in and says in front of their class that they have dressed up as “coach james” when you are down there’s always that one little thing to pick you up on a Friday !

Getting old now officiating a game midweek assistants both say they are 17 and ask how long I have been refereeing for 16 years the answer they gave me was wow we were only 1 when you first started 🤦🏻‍♂️

Buying a property is the most stressful process ever so bored of this now …… is it even worth it 💤😴
