I am sick of people wanging on about farmers and inheritance tax. Can they explain to me why if I pass my business (and it's assets) there is inheritance tax due, but if farmers do there isn't?

Had talks with one of the Canadian pension fund with an #insurtech startup They passed because the it was going to be based offshore for tax purposes. They had an had an ethical rule not to invest in businesses with an offshore tax component. I hope the UK does the same #r4today
