When asked on what they believed made a creative space safe, here's what our students said ☁️

Starting the second day of our Easter workshops with some listening exercises! @george_west_96 introduced the students to Pauline Oliveros' deep listening exercises and Dr Kirsty Devaney got them to think about the sounds around them! They have went away to record their own sounds🌬

Dr Kirsty Devaney got our students to design a graphic score based off one of the electronic pieces they worked on earlier today 👩🏻‍🎨 We really got a whole range of interpretations going on!

We just split into three groups for students to explore more about writing for voice, text scores or graphic scores. Here are some of the results from these quick sessions! A colourful graphic score, a beautifully written poem and a chicken-themed text score 🐣

We can't believe it's the final day of our Easter workshops today! We started with a few presentations from our mentors charlie Kedge, @george_west_96 and James on their compositions so that our students can get a better idea of what it is that they do 🙇🏻‍♀️🎶
