I officially started working at Okay in July 2016. I was initially hired to develop operational systems and support development of Okay Space, the company’s new art and activation space. Internally, I did quite a bit more.

June 23 2020. This is day 2. We are yet to receive any communication from OkayAfrica’s leadership, from Abiola Oke, from the investors or from the board. Our ask is simple. Abiola Oke should step down or be removed as CEO & Publisher of Okayplayer and OkayAfrica.

I want to say that I have personally just spoken to this woman who gave me the full account of what Abiola Oke did to her. I am completely broken. I am enraged. I believe her I know her story to be true.
