Graduated from UCSF Neurosurgery residency last weekend. Having Pamela Peters, my parents and loved ones there along with so many friends, mentors, and colleagues made for a magical evening. Couldn’t be happier to be staying at UCSF as a brain tumor attending!

Excited to serve a guest editor for a special issue of Cancers on "Emerging Research in Primary Brain Tumors". These special issues can be a great forum to spark discussion on promising translational and clinical projects to help advance brain tumor therapy!

Great effort from RaleighLab to understand the impact living with a meningioma has on patients! This longitudinal survey effort should help better understand the needs of these patients. The study can be accessed through a website: meningioma.eurekaplatform.org/meningioma

🚀 Proud to introduce #FastGlioma: the first foundation model enabling rapid, accurate detection of brain tumor infiltration during surgery, in under 10 seconds. With FastGlioma, we’re minimizing the risk of residual tumor and enhancing outcomes for glioma patients. This work

Incredible team effort on this translational project - just in time for SNO! Longitudinal multimodal profiling of IDH-wildtype glioblastoma reveals the molecular evolution and cellular phenotypes underlying prognostically different treatment responses academic.oup.com/neuro-oncology…

had a great time “debating” my friend,Philipp Karschnia today at the SNO/EANO Young Investigators session at #SNO2024 where we discussed the role of surgery, and how we probably should be more aggressive to help our patients with recurrent glioblastoma
