LIFELINE (1997, To): First hour’s an engaging mix of procedure and melodrama, final 45 minutes kicks into high gear for an insane extended climax that engulfs everyone and everything in a raging inferno. Even if this were mid-tier To it still dog walks anything out of Hollywood.

RAISING CAIN (1992, De Palma): Watched the Director’s Cut first, and after reading about the differences this was clearly the way to go. Can’t imagine anything more fun than seeing De Palma go full baroque, especially with an amazingly unhinged Lithgow front and center of it all.
