Getting this sunrise shot of this mountain involved backpacking over 40km in under 24 hours solo in grizzly territory. Worth every step and would for sure do it again 🌄

Taken this past weekend in the backcountry of Jasper NP. On Monday afternoon I got food and fuel in town, then left at 4pm. By 8pm when I got home, an evacuation alert was issued. Today, from the tragic images & videos posted online, it seems the whole town has burned 💔😭🫂🏔️
