This just recovered my faith in #Bears Media

First off, I didn’t care for the Hyppolite pick… but with that Everyone said Roschon Johnson was a damn steal Everyone said Tyler Scott would be WR2 They’re both on the roster bubble Nobody knows what 4th round picks are because they’re complete dart throws #Bears

I think since we’re asking Caleb to bring up things from the past every #Bears beat writer should have to come out and talk about life events from 2024 Just to make it fair Or they could just stop bringing it up

So let me get this straight Some #Bears fans think the best thing to do is to fire the GM that just drafted his QB a year ago And think that’s the solution to finally getting it right… Cause that worked out so well with Justin Fields and Ryan Pace right?

There were 3 main reasons why I disliked Ryan Poles as #Bears GM 1. Lack of moves on the trenches 2. Holding onto Flus 3. Having too much roster control They’ve all 3 been addressed Ryan does what Ben tells him to do and as long as that’s true, he can stay!

For the last 3 years, I’ve been one of the most most pessimistic #Bears fans on here I’ve always found a reason to dislike what they do… but this year I decided to just be a fan again That doesn’t mean I agree with everything they do… I just won’t b*tch about it all day

Oof that’s a huge shot for the Lions

Since 2015 when Garza left, the #Bears have had 4 Centers in the last 9 years (Dalman is #5) and outside of a couple good Whitehair seasons, it’s been… hard to watch Lions fans can say “we’ll be alright” all they want… but this is a big deal that could hurt them quite a bit

Y’all I think Ben Johnson is the real deal Not the “maybe it’ll work out” type HC… I’m talking about Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan or KOC level HC A guy that’ll end up being the #Bears HC for the next 20+ years

So is that why I said this in January?

I love when other #Bears fans try to “one up” by pulling my old takes I have a ton of bad takes… IDGAF and will gladly admit when I’m wrong But to take time out of your day is weird energy… y’all don’t have anything better to do that bring up a take from a half year ago?
